B+G Springs & Koni Red Shocks

Finished slapping B+G Springs and Koni Red Shocks together and throwin' 'em under my Legend. My Konis are on the stock perch, as recommend by a tech-rep at Koni, to allow the lowering springs to do their job. What do you think?

To me, it doesn't sit all that lower, lower but not as much as expected. I think that is a combination of the fact that my old springs&shocks had about 180,000 miles on them, and the fact that these new ones still need to settle a bit. But the difference in the ride is like night and day. Stiffer without being annoyingly bouncy and stays much more even through turns, accelerating and braking. All-in-all:

Glad you like em its good to hear the ride is nice.

It does look a little lower, but you are probably right about the old springs sitting the car low to start with, I bet the new ones will break in and lower a tad.

That car has lowering springs on it? How much are they supposed to drop the car? Doesn't look lowered at all.

Yeah, something like that. And their a quarter turn tighter than full soft. I called Koni and asked them how to set them up with lowering springs.

You can tell its lower in person. B+G claims 1.5" to 2" of drop dependent on application. I'm thinking it will settle some still.

I'd be willing to bet mine is all worn stock or monroe (for the time being ). I assume you were planning on being lower, hopefully it settles

yeah it still looks stock. My sedan was lower than that on stock shocks and springs. I guess it was lowered with age. LOL.

Well, I think it has settled a bit. I'll have to snap some new pics and you can all judge it some more.

However, I have to say that I'm completely satisfied with whatever "drop" I have or have not achieved. It handles 100% better and that's really why I put new springs and shocks on. A lower stance was sort of just a bonus. Also, Pennsylvania roads are not the best for a car sittin' on the ground. So the performance benefits of a lower ride without the worry of an extremely low ride is a win in my book.

So what's your gap front and rear? Its hard to tell in that pic since its in the grass.
