Hello fellows. I've just installed these 2 X5 amber side makers on my Legend a couple days ago, their housings are small and long sizes that make them fit perfectly very well on both side of the fender moldings, after cutting, smoothing, drilling, and filing and ... even some bleedings (but not very serious which I've tried very hard to avoid it from happening to myself) and now here they are: the other half of the maker housings sunk inside the molding which help very much to hold them in place better.
Oh, there are 2 options to run wires to them:
1. From the front bumper signal light.
2. From the corner light.
I used option # 2 with regular bulbs and they light up very bright and blinking too when signaling.

Very cool phuong, and your car is so shiney! hopefully weather will be cool next weekend, me and mike are gonna completely detail my car for the meet, inside and out, even the engine bay.

I love how those came out, did you take the molding off im assuming? i would be so scared to cut with it on the car. im interested in doing this mod, we can talk on the 19th about it.

Good job! Clean install. I used '01 740 side markers (clear) when I did mine.

damn... i was parked right next to an X5 the other day and notice that the sidemarkers were nice and small to fit in the molding

i wanted to do the same thing... guess you beat me to it...

and funny thing is i want TL-S rims too...
