<--Engine Bay Got a Bit Hotter-->

Well, As a few of you know, I had flames airbrushed in my engine bay. It was a bit unbalanced, so I decided to do more. I cleaned my engine bay today, but I do wish I could get it cleaner. There is some build up that I can't get with a brush-thinking of going steam, but have not decided yet. The cold air box still fits like crap, and I don't want to tighten things to much and hurt the paint, so I think I lost a nut today. (On the cold air box. ) Oh, and I apologize for any typos in this, I'm watching Survivor while typing. LOL

PICS:

Just for fun...

That looks great Pat! Much more balance now and really sets off the engine bay. Before it kinda stood out when it was just the frc's and the fuse cover, but now it all comes together.

Again - that work is amazing!

Constructive Criticism: Maybe paint the intake tube black?

No plans to do more plastics right now. I wanted a balanced look, and I think I'm there, although if someone found a battery cover that fit, I'd probably do that. I hate how the battery looks.

-Wendy's is better.

I'l be messing with the nut when I'm done posting this morning. It's crazy because I don't want it too tight because of the paint, but if it's not tight enough, it can vibrate loose.

Thanks-I thought about lock tight or a thread sealer, but one of my HID ballasts is now hidden in the CAB, and I know I'm going to have more problems. LOL

Thanks-I thought about the intake tube as well, but when it's polished it looks great. The degreaser and CD2 made it very hazy, and that haze would not come off last night. Kinda ticked me off.

The reason why I feel I can get it cleaner is that one time I accidently washed the engine bay when it was a bit to warm and the cleaner started to steam/stick. Some of the metals got a green haze on them. I was able to scrub it off of the intake manifold and the areas around the throttle body, but areas next to the FRCs, etc. still have it and I can't get a brush in there. OH well, I'll deal with it sometime.

Thanks for the compliments
