my cupholder / shift boot...

The only time I can't use it is when I'm in park, but if I'm in park that's when I'm drinking my coffee, so it's all good.
I went with this kenwood model because i thought it looked a little more old school /factory than an alpine. made the shift boot last night, not the greatest, but i like it...

wow, looks really good! If I hadn't used up my double DIN slot, then I would have gone for that!

Cupholder in the dash???!!! Why didn't I think of that? I used my bottom DIN slot to put in a 7-band parametric EQ... and I'm STILL wedging my drink in between my seat, center console, and seatbelt clip! BTW the dash is air tight...I'm feeling the woodgrain. You can't go wrong w/ Kenwood (look at my sig).

Your shiftboot over the auto shift knob looks like a big-headed Buddhist priest in a loose robe worshipping your new cupholder which is awesome! Tell us how you did it and we will worship you too! (j/k, and BTW, my paternal grampa was a big-headed Buddhist priest, I'm not kidding!)

Looks Good.

But one problem-no eating or drinking in the Legend.

Look for the cupholder from a 91-95 Taurus. There are plenty to be had.

yeah, it's a ford one off of e-bay. i had to trim the top a bit, so i could fit the frame of the cd player on.
the 4 screws in the corners of the cupholder are unnecessary, the cupholder had 4 holes in it that were visible, so i just put the screws in there to make it look decent. i trimmed the sides just a little bit too, but barely.

yeah, capleton... i pretty much only listen to reggae...

I bought my car with an aftermarket receiver already installed, so there is a double din adapter installed to house the single din receiver. How do I install the cupholders? Is there another double din housing that needs to be installed. Thanks! BTW, your dash looks great!
