I tell you what, these guys will stop hounding you if you show us a pic without the airplane wing, new bumpers, non-gay side skirts, and a step towards fixing that cluster-fuck of a legend. Show us what the car looks like now.

Specifically about the wing... Those wings don't work. When down force is needed from a piece of scaffolding that large, precise calculations and overall balance will be needed. Throwing a could dozen pounds of down force on the rear wheels in a front wheel drive luxury car to go around a track is dumb. Unless you've done detailed engineering for the undertray, front valence, rear valence, and many other sections of the car, putting a wing on the back will only disturb the balance of the car further.

The only thing that wing will get you is laughs from passerby's.

I must agree with everyone in that that car DID look like ass. However I'm very interested in seeing the final product. I like your idea of the build and the list of goodies you have planned. My suggestions if you are doing any body work is to shave/debadge the outside. You could shave the keyhole and antenna, and remove all rear emblems. IF you really want to utilize a wing, i'd suggest something not quite as tall, and maybe one that hangs SLIGHTLY off the rear of the trunk. This I believe may still serve the purpose you which without standing out so much.
Suspension I can't really speak being that I have completely stock setup, but I have heard some pretty good things about the k-sports. You can probably check the aftermarket section for those.
Also that sucks to hear about your back man. Are you able to walk now or still confined to the chair? Either way I wish you the best on your health and the build and keep us posted.

Ummmmmm The after pictures are where?????

Show us the car when it's all ready.
Right now its not getting a lot of positive feedback.
It's not cosmetically pleasing right now so it's not going to
get rave reviews. I am not a fan of those side skirts/wheels/ F1 spoiler
on a luxurycar or any car....

Hey man, To each his own, if he likes it, he likes, it, don't bash it just because you don't like it, give the man some courtesy, i'm sure theres people who don't like legends, but they don't sign up on the forum to tell us how much legends suck

well theres no after pics atm, the car is in peices, the only thing left in it or on it are the dash driver seat and carpet, but those will be out soon also. the point of the thread was to get it out there, whats going on with the car, i totally agaree it looked like crap in the pics, and it doesnt look any better now since its not even put together. the car is a shell the tranny is on a pallet and the motor is almost together, i talked to my mechanic earlier and he has the cams in heads on and finish painting the intake with some heat paint(cant remember what you actually call that stuff). soon as i get my tax check ill be getting brakes and suspension. definitely K-sports, but im not sure if i want to spend the money on the oversized brake kit for the front or just go with gs calipers and brembo rotors. but anyway the car has been bad luck but for some reason i just keep screwing with it, the day after i got it it was sitting at my cousins house, she needed to move it to get her car out of the garage and she ran my car into the side of her house with the pedal to the floor, hit it so hard it lifted the car a foot off the ground and the worst part was i hadent gotten insurance on it yet so it cost me 2k to fix it the day after i got it. i put the wing on it, which was ordered for me without seeing, a week later my buddy opens the deck and snaps off my antena with the wing, i put the body kit on it, 3 weeks later i hit a possum messed up the front end again and almost tore the whole bumper off the back of the car, decided to take it to IRP to have some fun b4 i did the motor swap and blew the tranny had to drive home 45 miles in third gear. oh ya, and the car was completely repainted cost me 1,500 bucks the next day my stupid x-girlfriend pulled it up over a curb and it got keyed. oh ya, i forgot i was taking the kids to church and hit a groove that was cut in the road by construction equipment and cracked one of my wheels and bent another one, hence the stock wheels on the front in the pics

but i swear on my life i will finish this car if it kills me.

so with that said ill post some picks of the progress this weekend.
