New tint and Detail (no 56k)

Well after many years of the Texas heat beating on my Legend, I decided to get some tint put on my windows. I think it turned out pretty well; it is dark, but not too dark. I did a several stage detail on it as well. I use Zymol auto wash to clean my car. It lathers up well and doesn't strip the wax. I then used a Mothers clay bar and followed with a Mothers pre-wax cleaner. By this point the finish was looking very clean, but still a little dull. I then used Meguiar's #7 mirro glaze. This was by far the hardest step, but it was worth it. It really helped hide any imperfections in the paint and gave a very deep and wet look to the finish. After using the polish I put on two coats of Mother's California Gold Pure Carnauba hard wax. The results were well worth the entire day spent in the garage. I took the car out for a drive today and recieved several looks from people passing. I even got a wave from another Legend owner who was driving a car just like mine. Let me know what you think of the pics.

Gotta love that big Texas sky.

beautiful man....she's so clean!! I def. have more motivation when I see beautiful pics like that....the paint looks great. I'm jealous of all that garage space too....my garage has been taken over by the females in my house with all their boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes of crap. I also had to scrub my garage floor after one of my roomies let her Explorer crap oil all over the place....I'm reclaiming the garage very soon since I just bought a storage shed. thanks for posting what products you used....I'm going to try some of that mirror glaze you mentioned next time around....

thumbs up buddy

gs rims

Yeah, some gs rims would be great. I love the looks of them. I'm gonna keep a look out for a set in good shape at a good price. Thanks for all of the feedback on the pics. Getting feedback gives me a sense of satisfaction. And as for some pics. of that 'vette, I'll put a few up later tonight.

Thanks guys.

CLEAN! Looks fantastic. The garage looks like one from a magazine -- that's what mine's gonna look like: framed pics, painted b/w checkerboard floor, etc. I especially like how you 'displayed' the Mothers products on the counter in the back . The new tint looks great. How many miles on your car BTW?

My Legend has 141700 miles on it. I havn't had it on the road that much, just short trips to and from school and around town. I did however take a little drive (about 115 miles) this afternoon. I'm still amazed at how nice those RSX wheels look on your car.....very very nice.
