REBORN at last. (G2 coupe)
Special thanks to Chuck at Acura of Tempe for so graciously allowing the coupe to enjoy some time on the dealership's showroom floor .
It's been a long 3 1/2 months since I nearly lost the coupe in back-to-back deer collisions. After a prolonged stay at the bodyshop and the most intense detailing job I have ever done in my life, the car is finally back on the road and -- dare I say it -- probably in better condition than it was when I bought it at 95,000 miles, nearly 5 years ago.
Cliff notes with a professionally photoshopped (lol) map for you visual learners.
Deer #1 and Deer #2 impacts at Location 1 (Austin, Texas)
Car repaired at Autocare Collision Repair at Location 2 (Logan, Utah)
Car currently back at my home at Location 3 (Phoenix, Arizona)
And the unveiling...
Chuck's pearl white coupe: 20,000 miles
Could this possibly be the record for most EXTREME mileage discrepancy in a photoshoot? A difference of only about 280,000 miles between the two cars.
It's all in the details. Scrubbed & painted wheel wells and undercarriage.
Good to have her back! Looking forward to the next 100k. Huge thanks as well to the members of this forum who helped with the rebuild in any way, shape, or form.

WOW! damn tyson, she looks better then ever! i still remember getting your phone call and not being able to sleep over it!! lol. simply beautiful car. fits so well in the showroom! thats how i like to think of any 6spd legend. sitting brand new inside the showroom back when it was brand new. lol
thats what i love about legends, they still look like brand new up-to-date cars (in good condition of course). those 2 are looking crisp; truly beautiful . this one girl thought my 93 is only 2,3 years old.

To this day I'm amazed at the beauty of an acura legend, and even more amazed that i didn't even know they existed until October of 2006. Your coupe is by far one of the best examples of a coupe ever. I salute you!
