Having seen it in person, I gotta say that guy did an AMAZING job. I didnt mention it at the time b/c i didn't want to detract anything from it, and its a positive anyway, but the ONLY spot that *I* could tell had been worked on was the front bumper right underneath the grille, the paint had a little bit of a fisheye for 2-3 inches but you had to really really be looking. It wasn't due to the shop either, it was left over from the previous owners bondo job. Overall, I was absolutely AMAZED at not only the job, but how quickly it was accomplished. That guy has some amazing body work skills.
Yeah, you were the first. Only three people actually got to take a ride because it wasn't too long before I had to leave.
I hadn't noticed the paint on the front bumper, and I've looked at it a few times . It was in pretty sad shape when I dropped it off there.

Ya almost no one would notice it. I just noticed it from working in a shop with this guy who could spot ANYTHING. He taught me how to spot a lot of repairs by having me look at any car that came in and trying to tell what had been replaced. The paint is great in that spot you can just tell that it has bondo or something underneath in that one inch spot. Again, definitely the BEST rust repair I've ever seen. Around here, we would have called that car totalled and left it. Now get to your parents house and yank those type II heads!

I thought about it, but I really dig the way the chrome goes with the red. I do have another plan for that trim though, lets just say this work was stage 1

To the best of my knowledge no special tools were used in cutting. Jen's sherwood thread had a pic of some metal shaping going on, but he did my quarter lips differently than he did hers because I was under such tight time constraints. Mine got reshaped from replacement panels for another vehicle.
From what I saw of Kyle's shop the guys has both passion and skill when it comes to custom metal work I need him to do some work on the GS at some point...
