how much trouble is it to take off the intake mani to get it painted? would it be smarter to just buy a second one and have it painted?

lol im not tryin to be lazy just didnt know the tools/skill level required...i want it painted nice so i wasnt sure how long it would put my car out of commision...i dont want to just hit it with a rattle can

It takes about 3-4 hours to remove it man. Its not hard at all, there is just alot of stuff in the way. LOL.
