But I have had my green 6 speed since 98. I received a call from a family friend that owned a dealership in NJ. I was living in Atlanta at the time when they told me they received one in. I flew up back up to NY and purchased the car for 19K, at the time with 48k miles. I will try to post on pictures some day.

i wanted a 6spd ever since i was 17 when i kelly blue booked the car and it asked me "automatic or 6speed" i thought 6spd?! thats really ahead of its time for a 1993! i knew the AcLegend was the car for me. power, style, and luxury...and now, 6spd! the problem was finding one. this car is fckin impossible. after 3 years of searching with no luck and taking the bus, i was gonna bite the bullet and get a 5spd maxima. when out of nowhere i see the friday paper with "blk/camel Acura Legend 6spd coupe $5000/obo 146k." i call IMMEDIATELY. the guy would not let me off the phone without explaining every aspect of the car. so right away i know this guy knows whats up with aclegends. at one point he even said "my true passion is trucks, but cars and bikes i strictly ride Honda." so i meet up for a test drive that night and of course it rides beautifully. after all that we start talking price. i offer $4800 knowing damn well it was worth the 5grand he was asking for. he said he'd be glad to take my offer if he doesn't get any others after the ad hits the sunday post. SUNDAY POST?! i could not afford to take that chance. so i scrape up $200, completely pull it out of my ass, and the rest is history. it felt great leaving his driveway passing his 03 TLtypeS and seeing the look on his face as he was parting with his dear legend, looked like he wanted to cry...priceless. i leave with a huge smile on my face. 3 years and it finally happened. i get home and show my friends the car, and one of em says "who knew this car existed?" keeps the smile on my face

Don't really know
Hey everyone I am another new owner of legend type 2 6 speed. Didn't really mean to end up with one just yet. My brother had a saturn for the last 2yrs but just blew his engine and he and I always wanted a legend. So He spotted a 4 door legend 5 speed and we don't drive auto so as we were looking at the 5 speed I spotted a type 2 coupe in the lot now we own both of them. I bought the 6 speed though. Only bad thing is I bought the car with bad engine and tranny mount car needs tlc.
i searched for at least 5 years long and hard for this car. one of my friends had a 95 gs type II six speed but i didnt have enuff money at the time and i let the low mile 6 speed pass me up. just about 3 months ago my friend told me that his friend had one for sale that was a 93 type II after hearing how cheap he wanted to let it go for i hopped on it rite away. i have alot of plans for this car i got the gs rims and planning on getting a jdm body kit and jdm head lights and tvs wrapping the interior black. i am gonna go all out on this car. i will post up pics as soon as this project gets started

My first 6-speed was a red '93 L, bought in '97.
I got a hair up my a$$ and had to have a 5-speed Lexus Coupe.
Sold the Legend, bad move, the car I always regretted losing.
About a year ago the search was on, in January I purchased my Cashimer '94 LS 6-speed coupe off eBay.
Been in Legend heaven ever since...

'94 6-speed LS Coupe
'94 6-speed GS (formally 4cruizn),
'94 GS automatic (formally ptan1968),
'72 Buick Skylark Custom convert., frame-off resto.
I seen my 94 Ls 6 speed coupe at a local dealer and had to have it. I knew nothing about Legends when I made the decision to buy it. I just knew that it was rare and sweet looking car. 2 years later, still rolling in what is still luxury.
Just bought mine 2 weeks ago. 94 GS 6 spd, Sherwood Green with tan leather. Been looking passively for about 2 years. wanted a 5 or 6 spd. Money of course always a huge factor when you have the wife , the house kids etc... I had but given up when I spotted my car on auto trader. The guy only lived 50 mi away. I called him, told him I was on my way. Called worked and took the day off. I went, I drove and I paid. He had posted the add that day and had alot of calls...but I knew it would be gone if I didn't act quick. Told the wife that I would even sell my cherry 91 Honda CBR 1000F and it happened. I'll send pics as soon as I get back from vacay next week.
I rarely post here but this is a pretty cool thread. Had a 91 Accord coupe manual with 270K miles so I was itching for a change. Didn't even know that Legends were offered with six speeds until I came across a used car ad for a GS sedan. The sedan was pretty beat, so I passed. Started cruising the ads looking for coupes. Found it 2 months later in LA coming back from a track day at Willow Springs. A 1993 black on black LS coupe with 114K miles. Paid $7700 for it. Put in Konis and a new stereo within a month. BTW, my weekend car is a 1993 MR2 Turbo, which I think is even more rare. Getting it dynoed tomorrow. Hoping it puts out between 260-280 rwhp. I'll post the results if anyone is interested. The 2 cars compliment each other nicely. A little off topic, but can anyone think of an 18" wheel reasonably priced that will fit the Legend and is polished?
