Honda tar.....the greatest sin Honda ever made...

The Honda tar was stock applied to all Honda cars 91-95, im unsure of other years. Its the shitty suck ass sound deadlining that was used on the panels in the factory. Basically it made the panels thicker, reducing vibration, and deadening sounds inside and outside the car. If you ever plan on doing weight removal, or serious sound deadening this icky POS tar must go. It takes HOURS to remove...and i mean HOURS!!!! You need paint scrapers and like 40lbs of dry ice... In my 94 civic Dx it took 19 hours exactly from start to finish and reduced weight 16lbs. Really for most it doesn't matter, its just there, but its somewhat pissing me off that i have to go thorough the Honda tar hell again...i THOUGHT ACURAS would use REAL sound deadening material...as i said...sonofabitch, sorry to threadhijack for a minute. Im going to go make a new thread asking for pix of legends with no interior in the sound forum...
