15 inch rim recommendation..

I see a lot of posts talking about 17 or 18 inch rims, but haven't seen many suggestions/recommendations of 15 inch rims...

Either OEM (Honda/Acura/Lexus/Toyota whatever) or Aftermarket, can anyone suggest decent 15inch rims, which can be just drop-in replacement (without re-boring, no adapter whatsoever...) for G2 Legend?

Just need some replacement rims for daily commute (something that has reasonable style.. don't need high-end expensive one... just not too ugly ones though.....)

Can anyone?

I'll be selling these soon, 15" LS chromes with decent Pirelli's.
Picking the car up this morning. Swapping them off this morning, I'm going to clean them and see how they look, missing one centercap.

The first one's from ebay are nice, They came with my legend. Nice OEM look, or if you want, take off the Middle "acura" guards to give it more of a street look.

Still not aftermarket rims though....

You will have a tough time finding aftermarket 15 inch wheels to fit a Legend.
The offset for 15 inch aftermarket wheels is maximum +45 mm, and the correct offset for the Legend in a 15 inch wheel is +65.

I dont know what it would look like putting +45 offset wheels on .... the wheels would stick out about 3/4 of an inch (pretty sure) and this might (not sure) cause rubbing or other bearing/allignment issues.

actually Stu, the offset isn't based on the size of the rim rather the width of the rim.

how is rim width important when you are trying to find 15 inch rims with an offset of +65 mm ? (like the OEM 15 inch Legend wheels )

Sure you can probably use a different offset wheel if you go with a wider rim, but I dont think anyone would want to go narrower or much wider than 6 1/2 to 7 inches wide, so most likely offset would be almost the same as stock right ?

Offset IS BASED ON RIM WIDTH!!! not rim size. OFFSET is the distance from the center of the wheel to the inner part of the mount surface.

a 15 in wheel that is 6.5in wide will need a 65mm offset.
a 16in wheel that is 6.5in wide will need a 65mm offset
a 17in wheel that is 6.5in wide will need a 65mm offset.
a 18in wheel that is 6.5in wide will need a 65mm offset.
and so on.

for example our stock 15in wheels are 6.5in wide. and use a 65mm offset
the 16in GS wheels are ALSO 6.5in wide and there for use a 65mm offset

any RIM for our cars in ANYsize that is 6.5in wide will require a 65mm offset.

a 7 inch wheel, will require a 58mm offset, which would make the wheel stick out only ~10mm (not a big deal)

7.5inch wheel is works in a 52mm offset and only sticks out about a 1inch, also not a bad, also still sticks out.

i have 7in wide wheels in a 40offset, they stick out alot! over an inch, and when lowered down they rub, epsecially if the camber was to be correct (then it wouldn't fit at all)

likewise 04+ TL rims are 8in wide with a 45mm offset, and they stick out about a inch (actually more) and when lowered down they tend to rub.

TireRack is carrying 15" aftermaket rims that they say they will fit our Legends. My question is that those rims come with 6 inch with with +52 offset...will this work without hindering handling? Please advise. Thanks.
