Ksports Installed! pics! (56K beware!)

ok guys, I finally got my Ksports.

sorry for the blurry pics....

The quality of them looks pretty good. I really like how you adjust the height by making the whole shock assembly longer, down side for the rear you'll have to at least unbolt the shock at top. But this lets you keep the shock in its proper place and the springs under tension all the time me likey

I don't like how they didn't really provide anything to hold the brake lines in place.

also at first i though they just put washer in the rear but its not just washers

ok so now for the install!

the rear, no wheels yet

wheel put on!

other side done

here's some shots of the installed coil-over (rear)

wheels hanging WOW!

front

now i finally got it on the ground, wow what i task this was.

and no its not photochopped, lol

damn this thing is really low

here's a pic of the adjuster

Ok well overall it was an easy install the rear was a pita but about the same as installing Koni's. the front was easier. I just wish that they made something better to hold the brake lines on, what they provided sucked i didn't use it.

Also sorry for the dirty car and i know my rotors are rusted i have new ones, its been sitting on those stands since early September. and i couldn't really drive it, since as most may know, i spun a bearing, it making the worst noise ever. I'm working on getting my spare engine rebuilt. also lowered this low i thing the front control arms hit against something. Those wheel are 17' using 215/40 tires and the offset is too low, so they stick up too far, they are just temp. I have new wheels i got but i need to get tires and have them bored out

But it did feel very stiff i drove her down the street and back, all the shock are set to full stiff. I can't wait to drive her around, also i'll be raising the car back up before really driver her.

definitely need some spacers on those wheels

But seriously, you already know as well as I...that's way too low, talk about busted oilpans and damaged suspension mounts.

other than that, i know it must feel like TEIN Type Flex suspension...more power to you guys, have fun. get some pics on a stance you can live with i'd be interested in seeing it.

If you leave it like that though, that would look crazy with 20s

wow! now with some 15in rims or a 45 offset rim and you could probably keep it that low for autocross....anything else...damn roadkill would even hit your subframe!!

that is the lowest drivable legend without airbags probably(with your 16s)

good work!

Maybe you should get different forks? The accord and TSX forks have the brake line bracket built in I think.

i don't really want to spend the money on something they should have thought of. also i think then it wont fit correctly. however i zip tied then on, we'll see how they hold up after i start driving the car. (not untill early next year)

I didn't want to install then and then let them rust up. I have them in a safe spot.

i think that spring rate is good. adjust the stiffness with the damper adjustability.

dampening is what you do when you're sleep and think you've gotten up to go to the bathroom but you haven't.

jeezis man, 9 out back?! are you a gutton for spinal injury?!

that's over 500 lbs/in in the back! and in the front you've got like near 670 lbs/in. coming from like 280 lbs/in front and 105 lbs/in back (i think)
