yeah guys he is that low on a 40+ offset rim.....mmmmm interesting

he will be raised up on a 45+offset soon though and should have no issues whatsover and still be the lowest around if he wanted to.

Thanx, actually i cleaned out the garage today. and pushed my car into the garage and as you enter my garage there is less then a inch rise and it bottomed out. I measured and it the roof line is at under 4feet.

Its in no way high enough to be driven! I'm going to play with it in a few days. I'll have to push it out of the garage.

what are you going to use to adjust camber?

lets say you get the SPC ball joint kit up front, is an alignment shop going to be able to get their hands and a wrench between the tire and fender to adjust them??

i have washers in the rear. i'm leaving my front camber for now. i kinda like, some is also good for autoX.

also no one works on my car but me, unless its someone i know, but even then only if they are helping me, or they have proven worthy, like some select few from this forum.

yea, it eat tires like crazy before. its a semi-daily, i have another car I recently picked up. But i love driving my legend and i'll keep driving it most of the time. my goal for daily driving it to have it high enough to have the rear toe set to a little bit tow in. rear camber adjusted.

as for the front, toe will be adjusted to a little in also. Thats how i had it set before, my fronts lasted me for a decent amount of time,

Toe is the major wear of tires. although camber will add wear to that. i think i should be able tog at least 15k out of the tires. But i'm considering getting a front camber kit eitherway, because i believe that the ball joints are going to have to be replaced soon anyways.

oh and i plan to do alot of autoXing

awesome, thanks a lot for answering all my questions. I really want to get these coilovers as soon as i get some extra money. I plan on autoXing my sedan but it should do pretty good b/c i have the MLS, Addco rear sway, and Futs long and short tie bars already on my car. All i need is shocks/springs.

I drive 12/8 with every lateral reinforcement made for the Legend,
new bushings, new links, etc... The ride is hard, even over smooth surfaces.

A girl said it best, "I need a sports bra to ride in this car."

k.

They look nice so far, I like the fact that you can adjust the length or the spring preload to change the ride height. Seems like a quality item. I look forward to hearing how they ride and handle in the future. I'll probably end up with a set myself before it's all over with, if they work out good for you guys who've bought them already.

It's terrible. Just terrible. That is, the photo addiction that Alperovich has. Anyway, yes, it is as sick as it looks. I got my damn finger stuck between his wheel and body because there was just barely 1/4" clearance. Damn. Almost as bad as putting 36s on my RWD Ram. Okay, it was even tighter. I thought there were suction cups on the bottom of his car until I looked through the 2" ground "clearance" crack under the car.

mrkeith, that sounds miserable

i think if i ever get around to ksports, i'll stick to something a little softer then 12/8.

alperovich - are those pics as low as it gets? I'm definitely not looking to drop like that.
