Lightbulb Bayou Chip Threads

To cut down the stickies on the Bayou Chip Problems I am linking them here and destickfy the individual threads. Just trying to keep the top a bit cleaner.

A hybrid is like part one car, and part another.

Legendz_4_life and DV8 have transplanted Type II engines into their normally Type I cars.

The Type I engine was standard in all '91 to '95 L and LS sedans, and '91 and '92 coupes. In '93 the Type II engine was introduced in the coupes, which it carried until '95. In '94 and '95, a new sedan was introduced with the Type II engine. This was the GS sedan, and the only sedan that carries that engine.

Both Type I and Type II are 3.2L V6s, but the Type II puts out 230 hp while the Type I puts out 200 hp.

I'm not familliar with the exact differences that add 30hp in the Type II, but there are others who do, and I'm sure that they'll chime in sooner or later.

However, I can tell you that the Legend never got VTEC.

Well then in that case, I need a 2002 TL Type-S engine for my 91 coupe...
