Need Front left window motor. Any suggestions?

Hey,

So I have a 92 legend coupe LS. And my driver side front window motor went out. Went to a shop to fix it, but they can't find any motors left.

Any body know where I can get find one? Maybe junk yard that has a legend in it?

Thanks.

Front Left window motor

My window lift (scissors) broke soon after I got the car, that's where I went. I think it set me back $18... a deal indeed!

If you are able to get the door panel off (lots of wire connectors and a hook for the door release lever) you'll have no trouble getting the window lift assembly with motor out. Everything is held in with 10 mm hex head screws. You'll need something to hold the glass at the top while fiddling with the rest of it.

Since you answered your own question, YES go to a junkyard.
I have notifications set up for my local yards, I get an email when any Legend arrives in the lot... so I can go strip it of parts. Door brakes are on my list - same for all doors! AND the plastic clip to hold the door release cable end on the handle. Those are delicate! And fender inner liners ... and so on.

Good luck!

Try Car-part.com. They will give you an idea of what to pay in your city/state for a part. It takes some doing to get through the search steps but it works. If your state does not have the part, look in a neighbour state. Usually the shipping is not too bad. You can also try Ari in Arizona (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing) or look at others parting out their Legends.

Look at junkyards near you

Our local parts yard, U-PULL&PAY, charges $18.99 for a window motor. $26.99 for the motor and regulator. There are three G2 Legends in the yard today. Don't you have a junkyard near you in La Canada?
