the car looks OK......as far as being soon to be VIP, like others have said, you have a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG way to go.....As a matter of fact, the only step you took towards the VIP movement is lowering the car. (which isn;t necessarily VIP)

You need 19's or 20's with low offset (read that as lower than 45 for our cars but anything lower than 35 and you'll have MAJOR rubbing issues) and I'm not talking everyday 19's...you need BALLER 19's, like Sean's BR5 Lowenharts (old skool baller rims) (rims also need some sort of lip action-staggered lips preferrably) You also are gonna need skinny 215/35 or possibly 215/30 tires and stretch them over the rim.

Get some JDM mods like headlights, visors...one off JDM pieces...

And finally, you'll need to lose that ricey ebay body kit.

10/10

please keep the good work going!

you have a very very beautiful sedan, usually legends with kits on it look wierd.. but i love that rear bumper - what body kit is that?! keep up the good work. VIP Style might not be made for the Legend really.. but from the looks of it you got it on the lockdown.. now all u need is air-ride and bigger rims

+1 for the girls.. mm mmmm mmm . LOL

CEN2MENTAL- yea VIP is really designed for Lexus and Toyota. BUT.. regardless :p the Legend will look sweet, and the style will definately stand out.. most typical VIP Style cars are so big bodied and soft looking.. the Legends sharp body will definately make it stand out compared to all the typical VIP Styled cars :)

Man your car is HOTT!! Its very nicely done and its still classy. Let the haters hate bro, cuz that mean you doing something right. You gotta bring it to the next Metro Legends Meet.

I have no idea what any of you are talking about. Which, if you knew me would not surprise you. :giggle:

So I did a search and now I know what VIP is. I guess there is a difference between VIP Platform and VIP Style...In the USA you can only have VIP Style.

Here is a quick website explanation I found High Society VIP Style Cars There is no mention of Acura anywhere

For those of you like me but afraid to ask...Some general characteristics of VIP Style are:

  • Large/wide wheels (many times with big lips and low offsets) that are flush to the fender
  • Stretched tires in order to tuck the wheels under the fenders
  • Low stance via adjustable suspension or air ride
  • Substantial body kits to achieve the "Wide" look
  • Custom body work to accentuate the "Wide" look
  • Custom video and audio components and installations
  • Wood grain interiors with additional trays and extensions on the dash
  • Custom seats and mats
  • Additional and upgraded internal and external lighting
  • Louder exhausts with larger tips
  • Engine/performance work (though not as popular)

OP - your car looks nice! not my style (too flashy for me), but I would stare as you went by me

Looks awesome, keep up the great work, the only thing I noticed that could help set it off are a set of JDM headlights (projectors :hide:) They do make valid VIP points though but the car looks great none the less.

nice legend but definitely not vip, definltey not vip inspired more like a clean lowered legend. You want vip? take 20 mins to read what 91 legendsaid and what centenial legend said... please dont confuse the public and call your legend vip.
Ive spend alot of time on my car: You want inspiration? advice, pm me but please dont say your vip.
here are some pics for inspiration:

Bout time you showed pics of the airrunner installed Max! Looks GREAT...

I wonder who is the hater though. People keep saying someone is hating, i've been reading back and wondering who was hating...

I don't think anyone busted on your car just to be busting on it, Dan. Infact i said it was nice, just not VIP. and as Max said, it's not VIP inspired either, but it's definitely clean and you put in work to get it to look like it did. Props on that, but it's not VIP, and not soon to be VIP unless you change out your wheels...That's where VIP starts basic priniciples of VIP are "Fitment" refering to Wheel width and tire fitment and its proximity to the fender. The Other is "Stance" Stance refers to the height of the car and your wheels camber. You missed fitment and if you miss that, the stance just doesn't click.

That's all I said. Hating, nope.

As far as soon to be VIP, unless you plan on changing out your wheels tires and roll your fenders, you're not soon to be VIP. You are riding clean as hell though :)

i did and i also understand what you are saying....BUT i said SOON to be VIP..SOON.i dint call it a VIP legend i said SOON..means still working on it.

by the way i love dat RL!!!!!

Nicely done. Sorry, but the Legend will never be a TRUE VIP car..."VIP car starts with just that, the platform or the car. Its not a VIP Car unless it starts with one of these cars. From Toyota, you have the Century, Celsior, Aristo, Crown, and Majesta. From Nissan you have the President, Cima, Gloria, Cedric, and the Q45." Not hating just stating the FACT.

Soon to be VIP Legend

DatLegend327 If you wanna learn more about VIP Style come with me to my domain!!! VIPStyleCars.com - Main. Even though my car will never be considered a VIP platform car. I and many consider it VIP "Inspired"!! I've got a long way to go too, but alot of my fellow VIPStyle car members consider my car more VIP than alot of the other members platform cars!! Keep on showin' and just do it the way "YOU" want to!! Don't go listening to what others think!! I do!!( No I'm not trying to start anything here!!!) That's why we fix up our cars the way we want to!! With the exception on go90go and the RED KA8 (sorry I forgot your name)From the June 1st. JDM Revolution carshow. I'm one of the only Legends in Nor Cal that I ever see at NorCal Bay area carshows!!! :wtf: All in ALL!!!! It's ALL GOOD!!!!!! I still love the Acura's more than the Platform cars!!! Good Luck with the car and I hope to see you on the VSC Boards!!!:bigok: By the way there are alot of VIP "Insiped" Acura's on the VSC Boards!! RL's ,TL's,and Vigors.

You're missing a good VIP exhaust. That's my car above with my Work Ryver Monoblock wheels and Garson D.A.D. Legend spec exhaust (very rare :D). All I need is my drop and then I can start on the smaller bits. I'll be doing custom interior lighting and stuff here and there. Your car looks good so far.
