The planets must have been in alignment because both cars were clean, both cars were in the same place at the same time, and both cars are rolling on GS wheels right now. Can you say photo-op?

You'll recognize this location from my last photoshoot. It's conveniently located a block from my house, so transporting both cars there separately didn't mean hitchhiking miles away :).

Hope you enjoy. I worked hard for this one -- it's more work than I thought to set up pictures with two vehicles! I got a workout in the 100-degree heat doing it, running and back and forth between cars. lol I just had to keep both of them running the whole time while I hurriedly grabbed whatever shots I could think of.

It's tradition to preface my gallery posts with mileage shots, so...

Equals 493,794 combined miles on original head gaskets :)

I don't have my extra 4CRUIZN plate here in AZ with me, so I improvised! The Scottsdale dealer was more than willing to part with a couple of these paper Acura license plates. hehe

Nope, the GS doesn't have its HIDs installed yet

Bonus: Ride height comparison. Stock suspensions on both. I didn't realize the coupes sat that much lower! Or maybe it's just the position of the mirrors.

wow, now THAT'S what GS rims are supposed to look like! I really like the front bra on white Legends...great pics Tyson!

I dont know how you withstood the heat today! lol

What he said. These are some really nice pics Tyson. I never been a fan of the bras but can see why people use them. Your making me really want a coupe to keep my sedan company which will happen soon enough anyway I just know it.

Excellent shots man, your Legends have always been number #1 in my book.

Thanks guys.

how did you get so close on that ride height comparison?
I could have gotten a lot closer! Depth perception FTW! :)
My only question is how did you get that lower mask to wrap around on the sides? Are the tire sizes the same on both cars?
You gotta stretch that bra out! It's a tight fit, but it works. Maybe try what Matt recommended above. I got it to stay in place just fine. Edit: And yeah, same tire size (215/55/16) on both cars.
does that mean you were getting 9MPG? I can see why you don't have the sedan around too often... it puts your coupe to shame
Haha, yeah, the cars were idling for probably 1/2 hour or so while I got them all situated around. I figured it might be better than starting them up every 30 seconds to move them again. And yeah, the GS doesn't come out of hibernation too often. The battery was running a little low when I went to fire it up yesterday, just from sitting for a couple of weeks.
I never been a fan of the bras but can see why people use them.
I'm not a huge fan either, but I think they do make the car look a little bit sportier. Actually the main reason I put them on for this photoshoot is so that the cars looked a little more similar. Thus the reason I did matching license plates too :). I already took the bras back off. I think in a lot of instances they do more damage than good, especially if you don't keep them clean underneath.

Nice Ty, lookin' good.
My only question is how did you get that lower mask to wrap around on the sides? It has always been about impossible to even get the flaps of the mask to the edge, let alone fold them into the bumper.

Oh, and are the tire sizes the same on both cars?
I went to Lowe's and pick up some snaps like is on the top fenderwell snap. The Lowe's kit has 6 snaps and 4 self tapping male components. I just installed the snaps (female) to the fabric between the tabs and the leather, then pulled it tight and marked the drilling spot with a sharpie. I drilled a pilot hole, and screwed the male connectors in. **Snap**Snap** and VOILA! A very tight fitting front mask!

The more important question in todays world is, driving both around to get photos, does that mean you were getting 9MPG? Awesome photo shoot. I can see why you don't have the sedan around too often... it puts your coupe to shame :p

Where's that signature black & white shot?
I knew I was forgetting something! Next time, Fut! Just for you buddy :).
Be honest, which one do you like best...overall?
That's like asking a parent which child is their favorite! You just can't pick! lol... Although I will say, for the rarity factor, the coupe gets my vote. Plus I have no real need for two additional doors right now. Perhaps in the distant future when I'm a family man, those will come in handy on the GS. I'd dare say the GS was cleaner at 200k than my coupe was when I bought it at 95k. I swear the original owner drove it on a treadmill to rack up those miles. :D
wait.... I just noticed that its a 14-speed garage....
Right you are! Wow, 14 speeds... don't 18-wheelers have about that many?

Long time no chat Tyson. Glad to see both your Legends are doing great. They look fantastic too. Nice photos of the two. Two rare and clean cut legends. By the way it is official, your coupe now has more miles than mine. :)
I am at 267,000 now. Now I have some traveling and catching up to do. :D By the way are those stock bras?
