Alright, for like the last 3 or 4 months, my ABS light had been solid on all the time, so a week or 2 ago i went ahead and attempted to check the code. i jumped the connector and the light didnt blink at all. So i was like, WTF?

Alex told me to check fuses, so i took out all the ABS fuses in the engine bay, none were blown. but after taking them out, it reset it and no more abs light.....until i travel at 70-80mph for an extended amount of time. then the light comes on again.

but heres the kicker, while the ABS light is off, while braking at about 35-40 i feel the pedal start to kick back slightly. but i dont lose any brake power, i usually let off when i feel that and press back and it stops. Just got my master cylinder replaced as well. So im thinking maybe its a sensor, how would i go about checking that, and/or fixing it.

Thanks

I'd try checking the code again to be sure your jumper was making good contact. Mine did something similar a few months ago. Turned out to be one of the wheel speed sensors. But it was throwing a code when I jumped it.
i used copper wire to jump it. guess i could try again, what would other symptoms of the wheel sensor being out be?

Use paper clip and make sure it's pushed in hard

I just checked my code yesterday. First time I turned ignition, nothing. So, I went and pushed the paper clip in hard to make sure it was making contact and then tried again and bam - code 4 blinks and another 4 blinks. Now I need to lookup what sensor is bad with a 4-4 code... So, use a paper clip and make sure it's in tight on both sides...

k ill try, its a lil more frustrating now b.c it doesnt come on unless i get on the highway and drive for a while. so looks like ill have to go get the light to come on and jump the code while i have the car still on

actually copper wire is better to use then a paper clip! you do have to make sure it was all the way in. wyatt try checking teh code again. :)

It sounds to me liek a wheel sensor. I dont know why you cant pull a code though?

The feeling you have in the pedal when you go to brake at high speeds, does it feel as if you ABS kicks in a little on one side?
I had that problem only difference was my ABS light never came on. My problem turned out to be a bad axle. The boot had been leaking grease on got on the ring around the axle and ABS sensor, so when ever I would brake the sensor would read that as a locked wheel I guess and engage the ABS.
I changed the axle and cleaned the sensor and its been fine ever since.

hm, the axle thing might be the problem, i recently got my passenger side Axle replaced cause the boot pretty much disentigrated. there was no boot what so ever, so there was grease EVERYWHERE. and they replace the axle. so maybe the sensor is covered in grease. im not exactly sure where the sensor is on the wheel. someone wanna show me where it is, and ill take a look today after work.
