I use those for my low beams and silverstars for my high beams. They're not amazingly bright(I don't think anything can be outside of HIDs) but they get the job done. I've had the night hawks along with my silverstars for almost a year now no problems.

Plasma Glow is the best non hid bulbs. Get them off ebay plus the come with a 10 year warranty.

I've tried both Silverstar and GE's in both my cars and even in my fogs in the Lincoln, cant really tell a difference. HID kits and even retrofits are becoming so much more common I think you'd be better saving 110 bones and getting a kit off ebay, my .02

at the price of an HID kit these days, it doesn't make sense to keep using halogen

^^ very very true.

and yes silverstars friggin burn out so fast for some reason..

- Piaa's are the best non HID lights on the market..!! i have a set in my 04 accord... pretty damn bright..

nothing beats a hid kit though.. or just real xenon

cost of a Piaa bulb=$40 (X2)
cost of an HID kit= $75

seems like a no brainer to me

i got my piaa's for 60$
my hid kit was 125$

it was a no brainer. at the time i didnt want to spend 125 so i bought the piaa's.. they obviously are not as bright as my HID's on teh ack but they are still kick ass bulbs. might be a little bit $$ for halogens but w.e, and plus i wanted d.o.t approved lights ..
