Hello gurus,
I have a 94 L w/ the D4 light blinking. When I short the jumper and read the code, it was a steady pulse which is Lock-up Solenoid A. By disconnecting the plug at the upper right corner of the engine bay, I determined that the resistance for solenoid A is open and B is about 35 ohms or so. Hotwiring A's wire to 12V did nothing whereas B's would provide a faint click. Pretty sure that I'd need to pull the lock-up solenoid pack, the question is this: The manual lists the steps but made it sound like the solenoid is accessible w/o dropping the transmission. When I got underneath the car, I couldn't even see the blasted thing let along have easy access to it.
Has anyone remove the lock-up solenoid on a 2nd gen legend. Any links, tips, pointers would be greatly appreciated.
