Fastest Speed

It was clocked on a radar gun at 145.1....thank god i wasn't driving.....what a mess that would be.....lol

140 and it felt GOOOOOOOOD

 

It was dam hard to control at 143 especially when you hit a bumb on the road.

 

Mine was perfect but again i just put on all new tires ballance & alighment

 

147-149 mph at this desert raceway, scary, probley could have gone farther, but was to frighten too

 

I was drop the gas and hit the brake by 143 because i remember what happen to my brother car.

 

This is nothing to be proud of... Don't do it guys... I will never let my baby to work that hard...

 

That when I first got my license now I run smooth and steady no more beat up on my legend.

 

i've gotten my car to 153mph. Almost no more gas left and one person in the car. but i'm pretty sure we had wind with us. lol. but i've hit 140-148mph all the time. i love how the car feels at that speed, especially since i have almost all new control arm, ball joint and bushings. also Koni shock set at med and stiff springs, along with a rear sway and mls copybar helping keep the car firm on the road . I can't wait for more suspension upgrades like full coils and front sway bar.

wow .. crap.. ive never really hit those speeds in my car, but ive hit 265-270km/hr in my friends bimmer. (him driving!!)

wow we say 150mph and 155mph is fast... just imagine driving top speed in a veyron.. daaaaaaaaaaamn:woot:

Are these all GPS verified speeds, or...?? Most speedometers(unless we are talking Ferrari, Bugatti, etc...) are really only accurate to about the 110 MPH range.

 

Never got tickets?

i'm yet to get a speeding ticket in my legend. *knocks on wood*. I have a V1 radar detector that has saved me so manytimes.

However i have gotten pulled for speed, since i've owned my legend. usaully happens with i drive my dad's car. actaully all my speeding tickets in the past 1 year have been in my dad's car, and i've gotten 3 speeding tickets in that time. all have been for going around 85mph.... I have been clocked at 120mph before, in my durango.

 

125 and it was smoooooth!

 

It was hard to control for me at 143 because i just had my license for 2 month. And i think I could do a little bit better at handling now.

I have topped the OD out, have a video of it to... but then its not a Legend.

Hey Chris how fast have you taken the GS up to? I never took it over 110. It was not a car for that to me.

 

I did 135 In my coupe and it feels real good.

 

Well in my 91LS I hit around 145ish, I was to busy watching the road. This was about 3 months after getting my license. In my 94L I have hit 137. I don't plan on abusing my current Legend anymore, I'm worried that I may get a ticket or even worse....a BHG! haha

Haha. Its alot of things. You can lose your lisence and end up in jail. My friend got clocked doing 117 in a mercury something or other. He lost his lisence for a while. The only way he stayed out of jail was he was on his way back to the high school on a lunch break. The guy felt bad.

 

Wow legends can go pretty fast. I dont know if i will ever go that fast on a car. So then how much abuse those a car take when you do this? im wondering if its the same as if your on first or second or third gear when pushing the car near red line (5500rpm or so)?
