are the springs supposed to be compressed? the reason i ask is because my friends say that they didn't think that they should be, but i think A&H did when i got them to lower it for me. also the rubber part that sits on top of the spring to prevent the rubbing on mine just ripped apart...so now i'm spueaking. GC just sent me a new set which seems to be stronger, harder piece, but i want to make sure everything is right. even the rear springs seem like they are rubbing.

Hey jigga,

I am looking for some gc's......where did you get them and how much did you pay for them

What do you mean? Are they supposed to be compressed in order to install them? In that case no. At least I didn' t have to because I spun them down to make room. Then I spun them back up to the ride-height I wanted. I installed the Koni GC setup myslef, so holler if you have any questions.

+42 offset I believe. I can never remember. Don't know how to post a pic. Too busy with work, getting my degree, and running my business to learn how. I can host images on my website in progress, just need to learn how to link them. I do have pics though.

bump:::

also bread i think A&H compressed the springs when they were installed. would that have damaged them?? the first set of pillar mounts (rubber rings) ripped, so GC sent me another set that seem stronger (polyurathane?). thanks andrew

That would not have damaged anything. Springs are compressed the minute you take your car off the jack, and even further every time you hit a bump. No worries.
