Guys,
Remember i was telling you that my brakelights and horn doesn't work?
I tried everything.

1.I checked that fuses with a fuse checker (with the green light to let you know the fuse is good or bad)

2. I checked the shift lock release to see if it was stuck

3. I changed the brake light switch with a brand new one.

4. I changed the taillight and horn relays.

If there was a short in the line somewhere, the fuses would keep blowing. Everything in the fuse box areas work great.
Any other suggestions on what the problem could be? Remember, At one time when i blew the horn, I worked great. If i blew the horn and press the brakes at the same time, they both stopped working. Now they don't work at all.
Thanks...
(tired and thinking about selling the Legend)

I appreicate your help with this problem.
I just unplugged those wires above the hazard blinker box you were speaking of. The ones near the fuse box. Still no luck? Anything else you could think of?
Thanks for all of your help!

What else to do???

Guys,
In reguards to the taillight/horn out,
I've checked the fuses(good) Checked the relays(good) changed the brake switch(new) I tested the harness at the brake swith to make sure it's getting power. And it is. Which means the problem lie further down. An electrican told me that if i am getting running rear lights then that same line is good. That means the problem lies between the brake switch and the brake lights. What else could be the problem in between these 2? rear bulbs changed.(good) I remember some of you said the loack on the gear shift could cause this problem. What specifically on the gear shift lock may a problem with the horn and taillights?
Thanks....

There is a HELM on this side that you can download. Look under Electrical: Brake Lights. In mine, the page is 23-210 (schematic) and 23-211 (Brake Light Switch Test). Have you checked the 20 amp fuse (No. 39 --Top row, middle) in the underhood fuse/relay box?

Yeah..
Fuses are good. Gotta a new brake lightswitch.
Hmm.. Looking at the manual, Maybe a ground is loose somewhere. Where are all of the grounds located from the fuse box/relay under the dash, all the way to the taillights. I'm thinking somewhere in the corridor a ground may be loose?
