Well I think his car's pretty nice. I'd ditch a few of his flashy blue engine dressups, but I do like that he gets around 9 seconds in a 1/8 mile. It's now my inspiration to beat that time next time I go to the track. I won't need any blue engine dressups in my Type I five-speed sedan either.

My real inspiration was a teacher at the high school I graduated from. I don't even know who the teacher was, but her car was always parked prominently at the gate to the staff parking; the dark blue coupe angled fiercely towards the pathetic student parking area. After seeing*admiring* it day after day, I went up to look at it and lo and behold, it had a six-speed. When I finally met the teacher who owned it, she told me all about how it was a 1994 (!!!) coupe and it had 230hp, rear windows could slip down, etc. I was hooked. Of course, I wanted a sedan instead, but I made sure I had a manual transmission at least.

I have ditched alot of the blue engine dress up. As soon as I get home the Strutbat will get chrome dipped and I will have to suffer with the painted fuse box, oil cap, and the 2 little boxes that used to sit on the radiator

Fixed the entire thread.

My inspiration was watching Zol's and GaryD's vids at the track. That was one of the first things I found when I jumped on the Legend sites back in 1999. Gary's burnout was great and Zol's 14 second runs made me want to make my Legend the best it could be. I remember the days of searching the Legend Temple and the old Legend forums and checking out some of the pics, getting ideas on what I wanted to do to my Legend. Now, almost 5 years later, I'm on #8 and I still luvmylegends .

the car that inspired me no doubt at all was bad azz, not sure who has it now but the last pic i seen with the modified hood and all that makes me strive to hurry up and get my **** done...ive been saying it for years now but i think this year is the year that i trully get to work and dress up my baby and fit her in some new clothing, shoes and a boost of confidence, and also that one white coupe with the pearl paint was another inspiration....cant go wrong with a legend...if it was for my mom liking it so much and putting the down payment for me in highschool i would of went for a frekin civic???!!! what was i thinking then. -ONE PROUD ASS LEGEND OWNER-

Out of all the Legends I've seen in person, Mark Yuen's red coupe, Leon's Jasmine, Kevon's Platinum coupe and Darren's Coupe were the cleanest G2 coupes I've ever seen seen. Dave's Ghost is the only sedan that I can think of that stood out from the rest. After being at the old Carlisle meets, and seeing everybody down at Nopi, the Legend family is like my second family, and that's my inspiration.
