i reused my s13's headbolts and i believe they are stretch torque bolts. just got a nice read on the torque rachet. head gasket was doin fine and i was racin the engine. just bolt em slow, nice and even, and dont over torque. that's when you can easily f up a head.

just be wary of how many times you reuse... or you'll be doing the cleaning, prepping, and torquing on a 2ND new HG. gotta love old bolts...

I've been wanting to do something similar to my G1. I have so many oil leaks that i just want to rip the whole thing apart and just do all the gaskets.

I feel ya on that.

OP: let me know how that ebay timing belt works out, I just bought one for my G2 on ebay. my friend came over and was like its made in china. I'm pretty sure it'll fit still.

well i am slowly making progress on cleaning and re-assembling the manifold with new gackets, seals, o-rings, bolts, all that good stuff. here some pics for ya.
