Guys, you all knew that there could be complications when mass producing a brand new product. Leon is really busy right now, but I talk to him at least once a week. Trust me, it's not his fault and he's just as aggravated as any of us are. You guys will get the bar, no one is holding out, they're gonna make them when they make them, and we'll get them when we get them.

It will happen, just be patient.

No, my post was not direct towards Leon. It's directed towards the maker of the bars. That's why I quoted Leons post is because those are the information he was given by the makers.

The makers of the bars gave us a DEADLINE to pay. Ok... in return, they gave us a lead time that we expect to have them... like a "DEADLINE" to us. They obviously need to have planned everything out before committing a leadtime. Calculate when they can get materials in and how much of the materials, production time..... etc.

I just don't think it's right for them to tell us and expect from us when they want our money on a certain date when they can't even do the same. It's just poor purchasing and production management over there.

This is correct. Leon call them and tell them that now they have a dead line of two weeks to deliver or we want our money back and will find another company that can build these for us. We have plenty of custom shops in California that would have had this all done is a couple weeks and not gave us the run around. Give them the dead line of June 28th and that week all bars must arrive. If they can not agree to those terms then get our money back, all of it and lets go somewhere that will do the job right the first time and wont keep giving us a different story. I will have my company attorney draw up papers to send if we need such a demand. I don't want to play around no more as others don't want to with all these stories. Get the Bars now or get a different company. No more excuses. June 28th deadline!

:werd: Although I didn't have the funds at the time to get in on this, I've been in past buys where things were not delivered as originally stated. It wasn't a big deal because I trusted the person running the buy and I knew I would either get a product or my money in the mail as soon as it was possible. I hope all of you that are posting questions are actually calling the company. Trust that Leon will deliver, he has done very much for the community as a whole as well as to many individuals like myself. Keep your panties straight, you guys will get your bars.

What was said, what has been done? It’s June 18th, what was said if now the heat has been turned up? Why is there nothing here to report on these bars? There seems to be excuse after excuse about these bars. They have till June 28th, 2004 to have all bars delivered or full refund that day for everyone and I will get a company here in the state of California to get this job done. This has to be the worst joke I have ever been a part of. The companies that are building these, cause the stories say there has been more than one, needs to take care of their commitments. Someone is wasting time here and it was not the people that paid, so lets see what they have said and the receipts for these paid bars.

Why does it take so long for any reply to these and other peoples questions?

Have made a few as others have and the last time they said they are not making the Bar and not even working with Leon anymore. So tell me? what should we do here if we cant get the answers.

I'm with Leon on this deal. If he says it's going to happen, it will. Some of you either need to be more patient or opt out and STFU. Simple as that. I've run GB's on this board for products that were already manufactured and that was a goddamn nightmare--I can't imagine running one where I was at the mercy of someone's production schedule.

Man, some of you new guys obviously don't know how a new production GB works. Thing will never be delivered or made on time. The key is you just have to wait, but in the end it's all worth it. Just have patience, and realize that not everyone of your questions will be answered, 4 month is nothing, if it comes up on a year or two then I would be somewhat worried, but even then I would still believe Leon will come thru.

Some of us older guys probably still remember when we first got the Legend Indiglo gauges made. Almost 100 of us put down $100 each and some people even sent their gauge pod in for prototyping and it took them almost a year to finish making them and sent to our doors, that was more than 4 years ago. The first KMS strut bar production GB by Leon took about 4-5 months and we had to return the first batch. People were all over Leon then too, but in the end everyone were happy with what they got, this was 3 years ago. The first door sills GB took just as long. I was in all of those GBs, so just have patience and wait, it will work out in the end.

And, they are still working with me...so, I think you are misunderstanding what has happened. The person that started the GB with me has moved to a new department.
So that is the first misunderstanding.

Part two, I would appreciate if you would appreciate how this works. There are bumper stickers that say ISH HAPPENS. And it does. In this case, it did. WE caught it. Unfortunate, but it is what it is.

Part three, I literally have been swamped at my real job, which I am sure no one really cares to hear. I don't expect pity.

I will say it again, I am on 10 - 15 NEW initiatives here at work that deals DIRECTLY with the CEO of CINGULAR. So, I am hardly in a position DURING WORKING HOURS to follow up with the forum, the production company, etc.

Unfortunately, I am not in the same city with the company (Addco) as I am like with KMS. With KMS, I could hound there asses all day long (after hours), and I played a big part of the Customer Service aspect there, as WhiteLegend mentioned .

SO. If 150.00 is breaking your budget, I am sorry it has taken so long. If you do not want in, when you get your bar, there is a procedure for returning it to Performance Center for a refund.

I have just gotten off of the phone with them and Addco is closed, so I am supposed to have an update Monday.
