Coupe and Sedan, basically.

The Type II LS is a '93 - '95 LS Coupe. The GS is a '94 - '95 sedan with '94 - '95 LS coupe equipment.

Yes, the the L and LS come in both sedan and coupe form. However, other than the GS sedan, only the coupes were equipped with the Type II engine. L and LS sedans were always Type I.
