First I apologize for the serious teaser and putting up pics of a project without results and dyno's because there are none. And who knows how long it could be before I go any further it could be a year or more! I just love hearing the ideas suggestions, feedback and knowlege you all have to offer. Isn't that a bulk of what we are here for? :) Well as many of you know I am currently underway with the Supercharger setup. It has been a very slow process but is still underway and the manifold for it is now being welded from what I understand.

I could not get over how much I loved Hotlava's tt setup and it overcame me. So I figured at some point in the future I also wanted to do a tt setup and began slowly buying the additional pieces it would take to do so (being that many are the same, such as injectors, fuel pump monitoring gauges and what not). Then last week my car decide to get some garage time (it broke down later found to be a broken axle, Ebay? I think it was tsk tsk). But none the less it was a perfect excuse to play while she was down so I started to look at how I would eventually want my tt to be setup. What better way than to play. It helps kill concepts that look good in your head given the (not so) workable space; a few of my ideas have since died. But long story short this is where I am at so far. Now that my wife knows that it is just a broken axle I only have shipping time to continue playing before having to put her back together again.

A couple quick notes

-No this will not be done/completed for a very very long time.-This is very new to me so I would be the last to ask for suggestions though I love to share ideas.
-Yes the supercharger project is still underway and taking precedence over this.

-No I did not wake up one morning and say I am going to do a Legend Twin turbo setup during breakfast (sorry Hybird, that just kills me lol)
-No I am not going to be using PVC intercooler piping it is just cheaper to hack away at till I figure how I am going to do it when the time comes.
-I have also read up on some articles of Twin vs. Single and each seem to have there advantages from knowlegable members of their respective forums.
-cheap clamps will be replaced with t-clamps.

Ok the book is done here's the pics. (excuse the mess my garage is at war)
also please forgive the ugly "stand in" mesh and terrible paint, looks will come last. I don't want to tear it up after doing body work and paint.

This one concerns me, there is not much rook and there is a damn brake fluid line that may need to be relocated. wires and hoses I don't mind moving brake, AC, and power steering lines I am not so happy/experinced with.

Hopefully at some point I will be done destroying my car and be able to build it up like the one in my head lol.

-Tip- If you get a new intercooler or radiator, cover the fins with cardboard until it is fully installed so you don't damage the fins during installation :hide:

PS. The purple finish and and nice shiney engine bay will be back in time. it was too hard to maintain and not scratch to hell while getting a bug of some sort and doing stuff like ^ this. I think eventually I will powdercoat vs. paint though.

foreva yes there's a few members on this board that have pictures of my engine bay and a video of it running. But those who have it know why I won't revel everything yet. Hopefully they keep their mouths shut till I do. :)

DandDee your more likely to see me at a tristate meet.

Dv8 I'm currently not running properly telion can attest to it as I've been telling him my issues so far and how he's been wanting to work with it.

But enough OT everyone this is telions thread please lets not drag it off topic.

Interesting twist of events in this thread but, here is the thing. When and if you see this when it is done you will see and appreciate the work of art that it is. In addition, yes there are some limitations that I am having to work with yes (short of welding and tuning) I am doing it all. I also find it interesting that everyone talks of Dv8 vs. so and so and how this setup is better than that. But in reality do any of us have any experience regarding this? Has anyone noticed that those that know there stuff or are working with people who do aren't talking down the setup?

If you doubt this build, look at the comments noted on Homemadeturbo.com. Now there opinions hold wait because there's members there with enough experience in this genre to convert a Kirby vacuum into a turbo and run 10's (ok that's a stretch lol). But before get any more Swiftish I will just continue doing what I do and giving you info every step of the way and then when it is all said and done I will just say it is what it is. And whatever that is is still to be determined. Rant done lol. Happy New Year :)

P.S. HMT thread isn't work safe as I had noobie requirements to fulfill :D

Happy New year. Put up or shut up. This thread is to help Telion with his build. No one can yet claim one setup is better than the other because none are running and proven as of yet. In this community its not who does what first or better, its who gets it done and has results that can help the community.

Telion, things are coming along nicely it seems. Keep up the good work!

Ok thanks Dethred and as for everything else this is not the thread for this we're 50 pages in and doing well. I just ask that if you have insight based on experience share if you have an opinion that's cool too, much progress has been made based on that alone. But if your going to criticize please do so constructively and if you wonder what is constructive you may consider popping your own hood look at your engine and then post :D

People that love Legends(ME) and love kicking the shit out of mustangs, chargers and anything else on the road love this shit. Please just keep working on your builds and show your 1/4 miles and dyno's. People with $$$$ and love are watching.

lol all that and I didn't even answer your question. nope manual tranny, stage III clutch, and a phantom grip should do fine. Not sure there is much we can do to beef up the tranny itself other than replace it with one from a different car and that would be cumbersome.

Thank you guys, sorry the build has been a little slow lately, I am waiting for the piping to get welded before I move forward, and there are no complaints surrounding working around another persons schedule when they are going to great lengths time wise to help out for free, Shout out to my Welder Joe Cool!

And I have a set of projectors that I am working on that takes precedence, as this side work helps pay for alot of this stuff.

But as for the build itself I am tinkering with the water/meth injection setup and maybe I'll post pics of that as I get it going. hang in there. and THANK YOU for you continued support it means alot!

Sorry, I dropped the ball on this. I'll give him a jingle today. I've been a little busy.

Thank you Vic, Shout out to you too Buddy! also can you contact Dr. Gas. On a side note Ran was able to talk to Courtney about tuning her so that made me feel very relieved.

Not much to update. I had a moment of free time while waiting for my battery charger to charge for the headlights I am working on for another member. But the downpipe is in the process of being welded and I didn't want to feel as though I totally neglected my car so I decided to start routing the water/meth injection setup. I will include location pics once the piping is done.

Hmm there are a few steps left but we are getting very close once the piping is all welded up the remaining steps will be figuring out what we discussed last night putting everything together and some tuning, lol that's a pretty vague answer. I just don't want to overexcite myself just yet, seeing that today was a sunny day and the roads were dry was bad enough.

What would a Legend Twin Turbo Down-pipe look like?
Well here is my idea of what it would (does) look like.. . .Yummy!

I could not be happier with the flow of the Y

Thanks guys and Vic I will bring you a bag lol. I can't thank Joe enough it was perfect. Lol Though I guess I could share the fear that we had when we were sliding it into place just after being tacked. I nearly had a panic attack because it just didn't look right at first (being the first time I saw it fully assembled outside of the car without being supported somehow. Then as we were fitting it in the engine bay it seemed way off at first. Then once it shifted in to place a sigh of gratification fell upon me like well lol.
