Thanks , right now she is not too impressive in comparison to the work but hope fully tomorrow I can get a shot of what she can do if she cooperates. I will try to give Vic or 91TypII a call for some test runs (not racing just for gauging her performance because the VSS isn't plumbed)

After thinking about it last night I know that I hit the spring rate of the 5.2lbs of boost because the did open. I am sure because one side tore the tape I was using to cover a little leak in the wastegate return pipe. So now knowing this 5 or even 7lbs is not going to be nearly enough to satisfy my new thirst. Unfortunately till the FIC is tuned (because it will bypass stock map sensor in boost) 6.5 to 7 will be all she can see.

Today I think I am going to put a check valve on my vacuum line to the AFR as a temp fix. I will keep the check valve going the correct direction so the adjustable FPR still sees vacuum but it has some airflow resistance so it should decrease the amount of vacuum in hopes that it will no longer dip into the 9's in AFR at WOT. I will also be watching this very closely with the wideband. I know I need to get it tuned but this is a good time to check functionality before pushing her. On a side note she really doesn't get to hot in teh engine bay. I was surprised by this, and think it ran hotter with the OBX headers.

Close indeed, yet still a ways away but to feel it refuels the fire to finish. This has been a frustrating, fascinating, and fun process for me from day 1.

A tuned 5-7lbs of boost is a night and day difference to an untuned 5-7lbs of boost. Don't jump the gun before you even have the bullets :p.

More minor details

Since I could not get my dual core oil cooler to fit I cut it in half for the tranny cooler

Got the power steering back in, but still having issues cause I can't remember how it was plumbed I will figure it out though, at least it fit.

And I cut the cover down on the map sensor box so it would fit

lol me neither but it was either try it or let it sit with the other items I bought that don't fit lol. I did find my Innovate RPM converter and confirm that the AFR is still spiking at 16.00 which is waaaaay too lean under boost with the RL (or any car's) compression ratio. This is likley the cause of the knock CEL it throws. To be sure I am going to throw a SRI on it so it doesn't see boost and see if it throws a CEL.
