This is it: Yesterday me and my dad went to my uncles house; the car was fine. We left my uncles house; the car was fine. This is where it gets weird; we got home and parked the car and about 1 1/2 hours later we were going and out and the car wouldnt start, but heres the thing we have battery (relays good), the seats move, the emergency blinkers go on, and the locks work but nothing else does. When they key is turned to the "on position" the dash does not light up, and consequently the car does not start (the car is almost dead). We checked all the fuses and relays and everything checks out good, but our mechanic told us that it seems like its the ecu.

If you know anyone who has had this problem or if you have had it your self, please reply, any help would be much appreciated, as this is a major problem for us.

Thanks man, thats what our other mechanic told us just as i read your reply, do you know how much one can run at the Acura dealer?

check to make sure your battery terminals are tight.

I'm having a starting problem myself as of late. Although everything works fine minus my car not starting randomly. Everything lights up and works fine, the car turns over cleanly but will just not start either if i don't drive for a whole day or two or just randomly. But otherwise when it decides to start it starts clean... I'm guessing it's my Ignitor.

I don't know how much they are from Acura, I purchased mine for 40.00 from standard auto parts maybe a year ago, yup this Aug will be a yr since I purchased my car,
