when you dismount the compressor, send it to me...ill pay you a little...I live in DC and I really need the AC

im not sure if it still works the car has been sitting at my dads house for like 5 yrs and im finally towing it over to my house tmr but i really dont care for the a/c the windows and my sunroof is my ac lol anything to add power to my car i will do

The PS is useful because our cars weigh a ton. The AC is VERY useful for defogging fogged up windows in a hurry.

If it were me, I'd probably opt to fix em over remove em. But either choice is probably better than letting them sit in there rotting away.

lol and about to reply some more....

taking off the ps and ac will give you some more power. it basically like taking a backpack off while hiking.. it's easier. that's true for all cars... except cars where the t-belt includes one of them **which i've never heard of so far**, or you have a serpentine belt that includes all the pumps and pulleys... but i'm sure you can get a custom, aftermarket, or replacement for after you pull the pumps off for one of those.

liked the H22 piston idea... and that one guy's list of engine work is friggen crazy.. that's what i'd love to do to all my engines but so pricey.

sides what everyone else has said..

clean your pcv valve, and maximize your Positive Crankcase Ventilation... when i put on stronger hoses and made it all to my par... it really let the engine lose.

i put a cheapo 3 piece conefilter on mine off the autozone shelf... works great. gave me more response, and makes the car sound badass. but you have to create a fitting for the rear pcv attachment to it.

only other thing that can be called a mod that i've done is i accidentally mechanically timed my engine to the ignition timing's position. so basically i timed the ignition and created more highend power at the same time. **well.. i've been trying to figure out what i did exactly... but it's hella better than before** i'm barely stomping on it and surprising everyone at lights... but damn does it eat gas like a MOFKR! lol

it hauls ass. ;] if i remember correctly i'm runnin like 13BTDC on mechanical timing. the only issue it brought up was the start off the line... i can run real fast... but i have to bring it up to 20mph first. but that doesn't take that long at all... IT'S JUST ANNOYING HAVING THE BOG RIGHT OFF THE LINE.... more power... and i'm sure i could spin through it.

oh yeah! and i put a hardened plastic hose for the fuel canister's vac hose that runs up to the TB... holds the vacuum better. but! ....when i play too hard, like when i was pullin my ebrake and spinnin the front tire **..meh, the road was wet**... the strain popped the hose off the canister and it didn't run right til i put it back on at home... so... i still need some clamps for it.

lol, you're always tellin ppl to search sam.
for real though, whaz better?.. bumping or double posting? lol, honestly,... be like some forum consideration guidelines.. lol, i don't open too many threads.. lately.. but i do know doubleposting is annoying, yet... over editing and typing is too. lol

There is a drain tube at the front of the car ... get under it and see where it comes from...maybe the person who last drained and flushed accidently didn't tighten the plug all the way...

My car leaks in the front under the rad is thats the water pump or is that the rad craked?

is that what that little tube is... i found that the other day, getting the fogs put in, and couldnt figure out what it was.. but it was snowy and wet on the ground, so i didnt really get down and check it.. i figured it was like a drain for the radiator...

well im new to the site so i figured the thread performance and mod would be a great place to ask a question like that and it helped, but i think imma keep the ac because like dblanehopr said it gives power when taken off cause its all tied to the same belt but i think the pully for the crank is only driven with the cam so the other shit is on another belt idk i really never observed my engine like that cause its an hr away at my dads, correct me if im wrong or if it will help

I have no problem with this getting bumped....hence why it is stickied.

Its just that nobody has said anything in it for so long...
gabe... fk.. short term man.. damn.. sorry *called ya sam* lol, damn weed.
lil lit, and re read, sorry bro, wasn't meanin to come off wrong..was just aksin.. for real man, you helped me out a shtld when i was in a bind man. was just flippin that day.

nah man, the less strain on the engine, the more power... take the backpack of your bak and it's easier. it's only tied together when you have a serpentine belt. all you need is crank, waterpmp, and cams. ...and alt to keep it alive. the rest is creature comfort. power steering... you really think the power in your car needs steering?.. ;] ..i don't have any since i pulled my motor. i need to get rid of the belt. haven't and still pullin.

bump? anyone else? hows about bodyroll cancellation... or gettin the car to not oversteer so much on a hard turn. lol, wasn't ready for a frnt wheel drive car that can momentum drift easy.
I heard you can get a Civic/Integra strut bar placed on the G1, but it's only gonna use 1 bolt to hold it, unless you make a custom bracket for it.

Best stuff for your dash, rubber, plastic in your car is Aerospace 303. Has a sunscreen rating of 40 and can be found at most boating stores. I get mine at West Marine.

303 Products - Aerospace Protectant, High Tech Fabric Guard -* World's Leading Automotive Care Products

You can order a free sample kit.

If this stuff is good enough to protect a boat that's constantly in the sun, it's great for our cars. Many detailers use it. It gives great protection and it's not high gloss either. It has more of a matte look. Armour-All is a no no. All I use from them is the wash soap.

LOL it all has to be custom My R33 Body Kit from an Accord makes the Legend Look like a Skyline, I am soon doing an R33 tail coversion and verticle doors. Everyone STOP putting the Legend into one category (Luxury) My car with it's JDM Engine and soon to happen 5 Speed Swap will Tear up cars at the track. :eek2:
What did it take to make the Accord body kit, specifically the front bumper cap, fit on the G1? Been thinking about trying this or just modifying the original bumper (lots of work and substantial $$). What year Accord parts/kit did you use? I have a 93 Accord also but haven't taken the front bumper off of it (yet) to see how close the fit is to one of my G1 Legends.
