Now it works, but I would have tos ee it on a Legend before I could decide if I would like it. I doubt that I would though, I just like the looks of the stock skirts all around.
Well, that is the R33 Skyline kit. And if you look close enough, the Legend and the Skylines' headlights look very similiar.. So looking right or not shouldn't be a problem. People will be mistaking our cars for Skylines. And I don't think that will be a bad thing at all. All you have to worry about is the sides and the rear. Now thats up to you if you want them.

i just want the front bumper. when is this gonna be finished for th coupe? i'll be looking to buy a kit by month's end. if it's soon, i'll wait. if not, looks like the erebuni kit for me. :D

Well....

I see here that the interest for the kit is not exactly what we hoped for. We have decided to scrap the Legend Project and make a new custom kit for the RSX. Thanks.

aww.. no maximum tunning kits for Legends. :( What would have been the apropriate response? a hundred of us posting our credit card numbers? Kit pieces on the floor are'nt going to sell anything, they should have at least been on the car they were made for. That's my 3 cents.

Well... to make a mold for a fiberglass kit for the legend costs close to $8,000.00 That why we were checking interst in a future kit because we aren't going to waste 8 grand on a kit that doesn't sell.

I think you both have a point.

Isn't there a happy medium? It's hard to express interest in something that is not tangible. Instead of making a mold couldn't you at least provide a drawing of what the kit might look like?

How many people are you looking for... or more to the point at what number could this project be a go?

I think something like that for the sedans would be very kick ass... It would be well worth your time developing it because I think that would take over ALL of Legend owners interest ...
Erebuni and Andys would be unheard of

I think it would sell. Not astronomical numbers but enough to cover the mold price and some profit on top of it.

What makes you think that everybody who ownes a Legend even visits this board? Probably not even 1% of Legend owners go to online forums.

BTW folks, I think this statement is a marketing ploy to get us to say, "no, wait! I'll tell everybody I know to buy one" so that we will do the advertising for them. But I'm really sceptical when it comes to business. Sorry.

You might have a point... why else would they have checked up on this thread?

Hey... I just wanted to let you know that we check this thread and website because one of our partners happens to own a legend and wanted to make a new kit for it. Same way I own a Maxima and decided to make a new bodykit for the max. The responses on Maxima.org and the phone calls we get every day made me go through with the Maxima Skyline kit. Bread brought up the point of publicity. You are right but we're not asking you guys to go out and tell people to buy our kit. We were hoping that you'd tell other people that there might be a new kit coming out and seeing how interested they are. I dunno what kind of kits are out for the legend and how much they are but we were going to make the kit affordable but made out of good quality fiberglass. All kits that we're coming out with are made by ADVAN USA... a subsidiary of ADVAN Japan. All the kits for the maxima have 7 layers of fiberglass and come primed and ready to paint. All kits are made in ADVAN's factories in Japan or Taiwan. We were taking the same approach to the legend kit while selling the full kit for $700+shipping in a group deal. If more than 10 people were to order the kit we would make it $650+shipping and we would start the group deal after we receive the first shipment of kits. We are still considering making a Legend bodykit but we are going to redesign it so it doesn't look like a skyline kit. We are also going to make a Legend section in our sh!tty bootleg website trying to list all the parts we can find for the Legend because like Bread also stated, less than 1% of Legend owners are on the forums. Our upcoming website will be a lot nicer though. Anyways we'll post again when we figure which kit we're going to make for the legend and when we're going to do it. Thanks.

Now THAT is something alot more positive. 10 people is not that hard for a price like that. I really like that Skyline kit yall have though, but willing to wait and see what you can come up with. I'm in for sure if you're doing that Skyline kit. Keep us posted man.

My $100 and no cents :)

IMO

1st of all not all legend owners is a Computer savvy person that visits a message board BUT,,,,,, IF I had a G2 with a Kit like that, You better believe that People will stop me on the street and ask me where I get that kit. What site I heard it form? etc.. So,,,,,,,,, that 1 % is really not realistic. Word of mouth gets you very far!

Classic examples :

Avon
Mary K
AMWAY
Primerica
Autoshops
Food stores
I should not even go on!

2nd Like the fellow member said, A drawing would be helpful. A drawing can be less that a $100 investment and would shed more light on the product you are proposing to US.

3rd. 4-12-02 to 5-11-02 is not a good time frame for a feedback for you.

A month is good but not enough for your investigation.

IMO your product looks great! BUT your Presentation needs to go back to the drawing board.

Yes its a expensive initial cost
Yes its $600-$700 after its ready
Yes Legend owners like new Kits and is looking for new Kits
Yes "If I like it I will buy it"

No If I do not know how it looks on the car I am not buying

I have never been in a group buy. I am a 1 year old Legend owner. I know there were successful Group buys here. So Think about it. Supply and demand

With respect
Talrudeboy<--------- IMO
