hey guys, sorry i've been ignoring this thread. those look like the Pt#'s.

i got them at my local dealership.

I'm sure AoA or others that give us a discount, you can get it at a good price.

DIY coming soon, i promise.

! BUMP!
my brand new OEM legend 6-speed knob got wrecked (the tabs that hold the boot up broke off) so i am entertaining this as an option since i believe acura no longer has any more 6spd knobs.
Post a DIY Alex! Or at least outline what you had to do that was custom.

well, the whole combo is only possible (installable) if u have a short shifter, the knob alone will work with a OEM boot thou. :)

cute but you need some new burl wood lol!:giggle:
no, what i need is the whole thing wrapped in titanium, leaving hints of burlwood

The TL 6MT knob will work with the Legend shifter?

Does the TL knob hold the shift boot up in place in the same manner?

It would I think because a lot of Honda/Acura knobs use the same plastic 'double lip' clip that our Legends have to clip the knob to the boot. The only problem that might arise is that silver base to the TL knob is round whereas our 6MT knobs have a 'squared' off shape so the ergonomics might look a bit off...as an aside Alperovich you wouldn't happen to have an OEM legend boot laying around would you? My boot's ripped...:sadwavey:

yes, the TL knob and OEM knob attach the same way to the boot. i ran my oem boot with the TL knob with no problems while waiting for the TL leatherboot.

My boss in his 6spd has the TL boot and knob installed on his OEM shifter and it boot isn't long enough, it unclips when u try to goto reverse or 6th. all other gears are fine. I already have a short shifter for him, its just a matter of installing the damn thing, and its cold here in chicago for doing work under a car, hehe, but i might just have to pucker up and do the deed.

Cmonnnnnnn man. I just got my knob and boot in the mail :(
