Just wondering where should the teamp needle location be when the car is completely warmed up? Mine stays at like 35-39% it is never half way... it never even gets that far..???? I was thining isnt this bad because the oil doesnt get completely warm and that would mean it doesnt lubricate the engine correctly? Or should I just use thinner/lighter oil just in case and its fine?

Yeah the temp is fine...mine stays at the smae spot regardless of ambient temp, AC, etc...

When I first bought the car I thought it didnt have a thermostat...until I noticed that the fans come on regularly...nice

If the cooling system is properly maintained... it should stay below halfway mark at all times... even with some extra loads!

Nah, your car is fine. While most cars the "middle" is normal, it's not the case with ours. The middle is actually a big hot.

During cold weather, mine stays at 25%.
In hot weather with A/C on, it can get up to 45%.
If it's *really* hot (95+ F) and I have the A/C on full blast, i can get to the middle and some times over (if I'm going uphill or doing a lot of stop & go)

I should note that I recently overhauled my cooling system -- replaced thermostat, radiator, water pump, fresh coolant, and upper/lower radiator hoses, so this would be close to "optimal" performance.

My Legend has always run at 50% of the temperature gauge. I often look at it and wonder if that is how it should be or not. Only because so many people say there G1's temp gauge doesn't usually sit that high.
Mine usually sits here or just a fraction higher:

It's not "ideal" but I wouldn't worry bout it all that much. My 87 ran at 50% for many years until I recently replaced the radiator. Then it went down to 30-40%.
