I'm willing to do a drive. You and me Socol, at least but we'll try to get more people in it.

 

To be perfectly honest, I just want to drive...drive...drive. Don't get me wrong, having the meet will be nice too (depending upon the turnout) and there's nothing like having a line of Legends caravaning to a destination.

I've never made the Rainier drive, but hear that its spectacular with lots of places to take scenic shots with the Legend. I'm down with whatever, if you guys want to drive to Portland, I'm down!

i voted pt defiance but if anyone else is interested in going i am absolutely down to do the rainer drive- even if only a few of us do it after a main meet. We can bbq and do pics and after that, anyone who is interested can do the rainer drive. This way we can do a long drive but at the same time not leave out those who don't feel like driving as far

+1 I'm down with that. I say Pt Defiance and the Ruston, and then to everyone else that wants to go, lets make a Rainier run.

 

I'm down for a Rainier run.. I have an Escort X50. Who ever wants it on the drive, feel free!

I'm in state from around the 10th to the 20th so count me in. :woot: I will have already been getting my drive on considerably, but whatever you northern brothers want to do is cool by me I'm just gonna be happy to show up. Would someone please pm me a cell number, i may not have constant internet access I'm going to be visiting a lot of places that week.

For anyone interested, below is the map of Ruston Way to Mt Rainier.

 

That looks like a long drive, how far is it? Looks like it could be fun. I will be there.

 

you're looking at about a 2+ hour drive 1 way from Federal Way / NE Tacoma area.

 

If I recall right, the distance was 86 miles from Pt Defiance, and the driving time was 2 hours 18 minutes.

Just wanted to bump this back up to the top. It looks like the weather is going to be great for the meet, and I'm still planning on rolling out to Rainier if anyone is still interested. Looking forward to seeing you guys there! I'll post later next week as things get closer and we'll see what kind of a turnout we'll have.

 

Can't make this one guys, going to a wedding in Eastern Washington.

 

I"m going to attempt to make this meet, the drive is questionable though, I'm getting set to move across to the east coast to Toronto, and need to plan for that...(gas money wise) Also hit up the Toronto Legend guys about their upcoming meets

looking forward to it! I got held up in for a extra week in LA but I will definitely be there and maybe I'll talk my brother into coming in his Legend from Belview?. I'm actually heading north today real soon, green here I come :woot:

 

I'm still on the fence about going or not. If I go then the Rainier drive is out for me; too many expenses this month and in August so I need to save some $$ on gas.

 

I'm in. Will bring Legend this time.
