I pm'd him about a month ago also with no reply?? I think he has just been really busy getting his shop going (which is a major undertaking so I don't blame him). I believe he said contact his buddy for interest in chips, it used to say it in his sig but now it's gone, There is a thread around somewhere with the info. I was just gonna wait it out till he makes another announcement.

You've got it, problem is Tom is busy himself with final exams.

I'll work on getting everyone up to speed this evening.

It's cool man take your time, get your stuff handled. I personally am in no hurry, waiting on a low mileage 3.5 to pop up around here for a good price so the ecu and chip I messaged you about will be for a different setup. Probably end up going stage 3 with no TCS.

Thanks for the heads up!

Hey sr5guy

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am interested in the core exchange option of your chip. I have a stock sedan L with a SRI. Will this hurt my car at all? I read your detailed post but just wanna double check. Do you ever come into NYC becuase we can meet and make the exchange to avoid mailing. Please let me know. I will like to pick one up for my next pay period, which is next Friday 05/01/09. Thanks...

If you would like a quick response, please keep your PMs to me short and sweet.

If you are interested in an ECU all I need to know is:

Year:
Coupe/Sedan?
Model: (L, LS, GS, ETC)
Do you want core exchange?

I will send you back a message with the total and payment information.

If you have a bunch of questions just include your phone number and I will call you.

Just had my chip installed on sunday 4/26. After pulling the ECU out of the car we found that it was originally from california and I was being restricted by cali emissions still. A little soldering and a little snipping, some programming and im officially federal regulation stage II'd. I could immediately feel the difference in power. I drive gingerly and under the speed limit (trying to learn my lesson) and i still could notice the difference. When i actually get on it...forget about it....it just opens up and goes. I was beasting up the test hill and doing 0-80 in what felt like 5 seconds. Dont be fooled into buying another chip or having someone else look at your car. Matt is the doctor for real. He went through my entire car and found even the smallest things that I need to replace. NOBODY KNOWS A LEGEND LIKE MATT (SR5GUY). Its borderline insaine. I would have my car shipped from Japan just to have matt work on it, YES HE IS THAT GOOD.

Matt thanks again bro. Ill be back to see you soon...I wont keep you there till midnight tho :hide:

Matt, YGPM.

wow my Stage 3 chip made a huuuuge difference, thank you very much!

A++++++

Matt's maintenance and stage 2 chip were a real hero at the dyno yesterday. I'll have a dyno graph to share when I get home. Another member got pretty upset because of my numbers :p.
