The wiring harness arrived today. Looks good and yes, there is no way i could have made this myself ! Was it worth it .... I will let you know when the bulbs get here and I get it installed !

I was looking in my engine compartment this weekend to see if I cracked the block by not having collant in it when it froze...

Doesn't the Legend have the headlight relays in the box beside the battery and right behind the radiator? that would be a pretty short wire route and an aftermarket generic harness would be hard pressed to beat it in length so the only advantage would be the wire size...

the upgrade? harness improves the voltage delivered to the bulbs. By going battery direct, instead of thru the ingition circuit with NEW thicker wire its more direct .... it should improve things IF othe OEM harness has aged and deteriorated in any way. This was about the bulbs anyway

What I was saying was that the stock harness appears to be very direct.... So the only advantage is the wire size and possibly any corrosion on connectors...

I got the HIR bulbs and put the low beam in and its quite a bit brighter than the stock bulbs. Unfortunately, I didnt get to install it with the new wiring harness yet, as I am still driving the STS and trying to sell it for my step-dad.

I do miss my Legend ... its been 2 weeks and I have had enough of the Cadi, lol.

ant it nice you didn't deside to keep the sts over the legend... i haven't had mine in 3 weeks, might get it back tomorrow! can't wait!
