Well I drove out to Charlotte, NC yesterday for a mint condition (type E) driver's seat.

I bought it off eBay, turns out the seller has a Seattle Silver coupe with black leather interior...it was pretty nice.

Took about 4 hours each way, but was well worth the trip. While I was on my way back the Gobstopper hit 150k miles.

The drive was only 400 miles each way, I averaged at about 100 miles per hour so it only took about 4 hours. :D

Sucks you guys didn't meet up, but I look forward to getting together soon maybe even before NALM.

You're definitely right about that closet of mine, its getting packed so I'll be listing some stuff for sale here real shortly.

I got one for three reasons.

  1. Only 1 fits in my back seat
  2. Only had enough funds for 1 and gas
  3. Only needed drivers seat, other seats are nice (main reason)
I was watching them for a while myself, the guy actually lowered the price a couple times before I ended up buying it.

The texture is a bit different to my original seats but the color is a match so it shouldn't be that out of place.

Its pretty minty too, but it could definitely use a good conditioning. :)

I was wondering if someone would notice that, but sure enough I knew if they did it had to be you. Good eye Rich, I fixed the picture.

I just wanted to blacken the area where my wheels were giving direct attention to the other parts of the photo, was just being lazy though.

bling, sorry i missed your IM yesterday. i have been sick for a few days, and been just laying in the bed. I am also in the UNCC area like chapman89 is. it would have been cool to meet up, but it just wasnt a good weekend.
