i guess im still in. bummer though. mehhhhh. now it's not just a replacement job. the final product will depend entirely on the type of paint used by each individual, how many layers they do, how well they spray, etc etc etc. mad bummed rite now

pretty much everyone will be using the same paint, red transparent paint seems to only be available easily at walmart in the model car section. it's not difficult at all

hey so since now they don't need to take it in two parts, like we talked about before, will it be cheaper?

also all clear is still a great idea like other have already said. It will let us leave the all clear for those that want it and use red leds or just red bulbs, or paint it all red or all black (with red leds)....

Alright guys, some people may cry when they finish reading this, after sitting on the phone with this guy for the longest time today, he ended up saying he didn't even want to attempt making a mold for these. I questioned him so much about it and he told me that he didn't think the lense would be so thin and that for a vacuum mold it wasn't going to turn out as well as he thought they would, and that there would be cloudy areas in the lenses. I wish he would have told me this yesterday when I talked to him. He really didn't sound confident at all in making these and/or didn't feel like taking on the challenge, and personally I like people who are enthusiastic and confident about challenges like these. So long story short, this was another waste of people's hope and I really apologize for that. I don't blame it all on myself though because when I sent him the pictures he said it wouldn't be a problem and he was confident about it, so I was excited and posted it on here, thinking it would be a sure thing. Again, sorry for getting peoples hopes up, but I'll continue my search on finding a way to get these things done. - Anthony.

^So either case, all clear or clear/red, the lense would be too thin for the molding process? Therefore, neither would be feasible to produce?

93/95 Thanks for trying. It seeems like you put a lot of effort into thia. Noone should be upset with you because you tried and its not your fault that the guy wasn't confidetn about doing it. Maybe its better that way because if he would have tried and then it didn't come out good it could have been a whole lot worse

Smiley405, Hey its funny, I think I know how they made those red/clears in that yahoo acutions page. If you look at the red part, the diffuser is not there, so they some how either cut the amber/reverse part off of the tail lense and some way shaped/formed and put together the clear diffuser that was where the red part was and put in where the amber/reverse part was. Pretty cool idea, how they did it? No Clue, I'll try and experiment.
