TWG, Any rust? What kinda miles and where did you get it?

There was extensive rust on the right rear quarter panel.. I paid 550 to have it cut out and repaired.. (incl in the above maintenance cost)

other than that, there is a bit of rust on the left quarter panel near the door.. but that's it.

It's got 240k kms, so the usual, bought it from a friend of a friend of a friend..

Chill Wil from Dirty Jerzee here. I bought this car just to get around town, really for the winter so i can save my other baby, but damn me if i haven't started to like it too much. I had promised myself i wouldn't spend any money on this one and make it a project but lately all i find myself doing is surfing the web for parts and ways to improve my g1. Oh well, can't fight it much longer. So far all stock except for a new system i'm having installed this coming weekend.

Bought the car for $200 for a work car...fell in love and now it's my favorite money pit of a hobby...removing the interior next week for the sound control installation...brakes and shocks and lowered at the same time...then it's transmission, sound and seat covers...this summer...new paint....summer shoes and fancy buckles...then maybe post some pics...the DIY parts are gonna be posted...

I am new to the Forum it has been encouraging due to not having many Ops for Mods. Make you fill kind of alone. I would like to find some Coupe owners in Dallas with the same interest on mods.
I have 88 L Coupe 243,000 bought for $500 from co-worker and he is wanting it back due to my repair work.

New Uper control arms all the way around
New inner and outer tie rods
New Chrome 4" exhuast Muffler
New 17" Rev III gunmetal w/ polished edge
New K&N 3" intake
New Platnum 4's
New Motor mounts
New 935 watt Boss amp w/ adjust Bass control and 6.5 Boston front & rear speks 1" tweets

sup guys..

Just passed 100K on my 1988 Legend and the car is still running strong. I've done two trips to So. California from No. California in the last month and averaged 26mpg! Also just put on four Good Year Eagle HPs, the Yos tires I had where complete crap.

-Have you guys noticed your front seat beats? When you are just sitting at a stop light tug it quickly and notice how it doesn't lock up. If you tug the back belts quick, they will lock up....weird problem. We took apart the front belts and found it to be by design!! It has this dorky ball joint that moves forward to lock the belt on IMPACT....Not really a sane idea IMO, what do you guys think?

-Only issues: Oil lamp that annoys me (installed an Oil Pressure Gauge and the blinking lamp is false)
