I thought that might be the case.

hmm I wonder if you could use the space a little better by reversing the collector here. Just lengthen the passenger side tube a bit to reach the righthand input on the collector, running closer to the crankshaft pulley, then the same with the driver's side but closer to the radiator. Might create a safe passage for the lower hose.

Possibly but I played with it a lot and that was the best I could come up with without needing to remove or modify the front suspension rack support bar, having sufficient room for spacing from the power steering belt and keeping an agle at the 3" exhaust side that would not be too much of a henderance on the exit path of the exhaust. I did find that I had a little more room than I anticipated once I put the radiator in though; so I may give it a second look tomorrow.

Have you found a way to route the fuse box to the fender without extending the wires?
Not yet, I have another harness on standby incase I need it but I will worry about wiring last unless I get bored.

Ok I have some pics on how I want to route the exhaust, sorry none that show how it will route under the passenger side header yet. I have also desided to have a hot side and a cold side for my car so all of the plumbing that is on the hot side (passenger side are likely to be re-routed to the cold side (drivers side)

Still a great deal of work to do but this is a great start
***couplers will be replaced with welds once I feel good about the plumbing :) ***
Do not use couplers on the hot side

Thanks, I think I am going to open up the holes a bit where the washer fluid and stock air box are today to decrease the amount of piping required to get to the IC. possibly more pics later.

Don't care how, just make it happen! :)

But please... do it with the bumper on.

I am afraid that conversation would take us too far off topic.

Not much news today other than I have decided to go forward with relocating the fusebox, and re-routing the wiring to the relay box which will stay in it's current location

Lol cool, you should post more pics of your build in your thread or start a thread dedicated to it. I know people our going this route but everyone is so quiet about what they are doing (Kinda why I am all out with posting every step of my build.

More pics of the wiring mess I made and then cleaned up I pulled each tangled pin from the connector, then untangled it and put it back in its place in the connector; damn did that suck, the pins just didn't wanna come out willingly.

The mess

And a couple hours later. I still need to solder in the 8 or so wires that needed to be extended to make this a go, gut so far so good.

When i first started learning electronics, I had nightmares that looked like this picture. I know i've said it before but i really appreciate that you have put every step in this thread, including the problems. Its inspired me to do my own turbo build, but on a 4 cylinder, and completely from junkyard parts. Thats where I get my kicks, building something from nothing. Im preparing in case McCain gets elected, and the world ends up like Mad Max. Ill be set.

Telion, at what point do you say "screw it" and cut a large hole in the firewall to get the harnesses through?:p  Or will it not reach either way without extending the wires?
